Congratulations to 7th grade champions Rosemount Navy for defeating Eastview Blue and taking 1st place in the 17 team division!
Congratulations to 8th grade gold for taking 2nd place in their 18 team division.
Irish Youth Football 7th and 8th Grades
2011 was our second year of 7th & 8th grade league football. With the addition of the Lakeville system we re-named the league from ERAVE to the South Suburban Youth Football League (SSYFL). The league is comprised of the following high school/community programs: Rosemount, Eagan, Eastview, Apple Valley, Lakeville North and Lakeville South. Each association created 3-5 equal level teams per grade to compete in the league. The high school boundaries determined where participants play. If you tracked to Rosemount High School you played in the Rosemount program. In Rosemount we created equal teams of approximately 22 players per team in both 7th and 8th grade.
