Offensive and Defensive Football Camps 

The Rosemount Football Program is going to offer a football camp to teach the core elements of our offensive and defensive schemes.  We have several goals we hope to accomplish through this camp.

1) Position Selection – In the past, our 10^th grade coaches have spent the first 3-4 days of the first week trying to identify whether players should be on Offense or Defense and in what positions.  We believe this camp will expedite this process and allow for much greater efficiency with position selection before camp starts. 

2) Allow 2 way instruction- From the varsity perspective, we hope to use this camp to teach more players an offensive and defensive position for improved depth heading into the season.  It will also allow 10^th graders to experiment with both sides of the ball to determine the best fit.

3) Varsity Ready – We believe this camp will allow us to identify and develop varsity ready players at the lower levels earlier than the traditional manner.

4) Player Development – Fundamental Development & Scheme Understanding

We believe this camp will be a great introduction to the fundamentals needed for your position.  Drills will be provided for individuals to work on these skills throughout the summer and leading up to the season.

 Defensive Camp Dates – June 12, 13, 14  From 8am-10am

Offensive Camp Dates – June 12, 13, 14 From 10am-Noon

 These camps will be run by Rosemount High School Football Coaches. Helmets and shoulder pads will be checked out to students prior to the Camp dates for use during the camp and for the fall.  Specific dates for gear hand out will be shared at the Spring Meeting.
